Trinidade
Trinidade is an artistic work of 2012.
This work is a copper floral sculpture with a single Sun and a Moon of 1 square meter each, consisting of 2mm and 3mm thicknesses, assembled with copper rivets, without any welding.
Trinidade covers an area of 7 square meters, with 5 sqm of leaves, 3 stars alpine, roots and earthworms. The work has a total weight of 150 kg. Trindade was created for the mountain and its meaning is the number 3 which has a mystical value - 3 Alpine Stars - and other important elements:
- The Sun and the Moon and the Alpine Star symbolize the strength and beauty of nature;
- The flowers that come up with a dance of roots, leaves and earthworms symbolize the harmony that is created in nature, rippled by the two astral elements that are fundamental for every Life.
To finish this work, it took about nine months of completely hand-made work for all phases: cutting and engraving with chisels, and the bending.
Working at the Trinidade it was a hard experience, both physical and mental, but this experience gave me unique feelings and moments and for me it will surely remain unique and inimitable.
